removing duckweed

Is there a chemical way to remove duckweed that you know of? Like an algicide that won't hurt other plants. I could remove fish if necessary. Manual removal just never seems to work sufficiently. Any ideas.

Some plant-eating cichlids might do the job. An Uaru will munch through it everso quickly.

ok, i've been trying a livebearer that is supposed to help, amica spledens - all I can say is that they don't eat duckweed! Or not quickly at any rate
