how many fish can you keep in a 24 inch tank? TIA

Depends on a lot of factors. What fish? What filtration? Generally, people say 1 inch of fish needs 1 gallon of water. It is a ballpark figure.

just a straightforward tank. Not tropical, just a shoal of tetras and a few other odds and ends (gorami, dwarf pleco). I want to add some corys. So how many gallons in a 24" tank? Is there a chart?
