No, not hard to keep. A bit tricky to raise, because they need lots of food, and will eat each other if they don't get it. Other than that, they are relatively simple. Not particularly fussy about water, and generally quite hardy.

So those are the shortest living fish? I bet that keeps them out of mosty shops
